just say no to the devil

Finally a Republican with enough spine to stand up the Dick. Perhaps this is Colin Powell's way of making amends to the country after lying for them and being exposed for a dupe. If more folks threw water on Cheney's white phosphorus skin, he'd quickly melt into a puddle of clothes.

Your comment on the NYT article re: military autopsies was immature and poorly-done. Please think before you write next time.

Your simplistic, jingoist response with its fake empathy for "the families" in the Times ignores the fact that during every Memorial Day, throughout each and every election cycle, and at any major sporting event in this country, the memories of dead soldiers are politicized. Oh! if only it were for the memories of the lost youth and the brave that such vanity is laid forth at the feet of the weeping, teary-eyed rodeo clowns and their listeners! But it is not. It's not just the US that suffers.

I'm not opposed to research to help the wounded or prevent casualties. I am opposed to the research called mindless war that creates the wounded and the dead.

War on friend. War on. For some it is easier than an education.
